It felt like the right time to share encouragement and mentorship through faith.

Growing up, I was deeply influenced by my Dad, my older brother, and a variety of coaches, teachers, and mentors who I’m so grateful for. They all shaped my values, especially the belief in being loved by Christ, free to be who I am, and guided to live out the best version of myself, reflecting the values of the Gospel.

At Hoboken Grace, a group of friends saw my potential to lead kids with my style of communication and mentorship. To get started, I shadowed those on stage who led weekly activities for elementary kids—hyping them up, running games, and helping bring the kids an excellent Sunday at church. It comes naturally to me to simplify complex ideas, and this role has been so rewarding that I’d love to take on a bigger project to help kids (and even older kids) model their lives after positive influences while also being a supportive leader. I’ve been on stage for a year now, and it’s flown by because it’s been such an exciting and fulfilling experience.
